Welcome to Year 2

Welcome to a new school year. We hope you all had an enjoyable summer. Our topic for the first half of the Autumn term is 'Would I like to be a farmer now or in the past?' focusing on the changes in farming through the past. We will be learning about ploughing, harvesting and dairy farming. The children will also experience farming first hand through a farm day.

Please help us to keep your children fit and healthy by ensuring they have their P.E. kit in school. It should be in school for the whole week or if you prefer, for the whole of the half term! We are going to try and exercise every day through the 'daily mile' and go noodle' so please ensure your child has suitable shoes in school.

Your child should bring their book bag and book to school daily. They are expected to change their books independently and should be reading at home every day.

Keep checking our page for important dates, information and photographs.

As always, thank you for your continued support.
