Welcome to Year 2

Our topic for the Summer term is 'What is it like to be an explorer?' focusing on significant individuals from the past and the impact they have had on life today. We will be learning about three famous explorers and will even become explorers ourselves when we discover dinosaur fossils and explore some rather large caves!

Please help us to keep your children fit and healthy by ensuring they have their P.E. kit in school. It should be in school for the whole week or if you prefer, for the whole of the half term! We are going to try and exercise every day through the 'daily mile' and go noodle' so please ensure your child has suitable shoes in school.

Your child should bring their book bag and book to school daily. They are expected to change their books independently and should be reading at home every day.

Keep checking our page for important dates, information and photographs.

As always, thank you for your continued support.
