Welcome to Year 1

Welcome back to another half term - Autumn 2. We hope you all had an enjoyable break. Our topic for the second half of the Autumn term is 'How does the postman know where I live?' focusing on the four countries of the U.K. and the four major seas. They will also be learning about the capital cities, focusing mainly on London.

Please help us to keep your children fit and healthy by ensuring they have their P.E. kit in school. It should be in school for the whole week or if you prefer, for the whole of the half term! We are going to try and exercise every day through the 'daily mile' and go noodle' so please ensure your child has suitable shoes in school.

Your child should bring their book bag and book to school daily. They are encouraged to change their books independently and should be reading at home every day.

Keep checking our page for important dates, information and photographs.

As always, thank you for your continued support.
